  • How does the shipping work?
    Artist is required to ship (or deliver) the artwork to the buyer. Once confirmation is received from the buyer, Colorful Cause will transfer the proceeds to the charity.
  • Is Colorful Cause a registered non-profit charity?
    Yes. Colorful Cause is a registered charity with State of Maryland and pending approval with IRS for 501(c)(3).
  • How do I upload my artwork?
    All artworks are uploaded through the “Upload Your Artwork” link in the “Artist’s Corner”. Once uploaded, it will be reviewed by the admin and displayed on the website upon approval. If you have any difficulties uploading your artwork, please contact admin@colorfulcause.org.
  • How long will an art piece stay on the website? section?
    Typically, any artwork is on the website for about 3-4 weeks. However, we try to keep the art as long as possible to have more opportunities for people of buy and contribute to charity!
  • How do I decide my pricing?
    Pricing should be decided based on the quality and size of the artwork. Please see our Suggested Pricing for the recommended pricing. If you have any further questions, please send us an email.
  • Can I donate to Colorful Cause without buying any artwork?
    Yes. Please click on the “Donate” button to donate to this cause.
  • How much of the proceeds will go to Charity?
    Artists can decide how much will go to charity with a mandatory minimum of 50% and an option to contribute up to 100%. Ideally, artists should donate as much as possible; however, it is a choice for the artist. Colorful cause keeps a small amount (less than 5%) from proceeds to maintain the website .
